Spring – How to deal with toxic overloading.

Today our environment and body is overloaded with toxins. These toxins accumulate in our body and over time manifest as any number of diseases and complications. Eating organic is important however it is not enough. What we really need to be doing on a regular basis is emptying our system of toxins so we can move through life with more energy. 

Agricultural toxins and pesticides have been found in the rain and therefore showing up pretty much everywhere, even organic produce. This is why it is important to take some time during the spring and fall to lessen the toxic load on the body. We do this with less food, choosing easily digestible food which enhance the digestive system, and choosing the right foods that enhance the innate detox systems within your body. Combining this with self massage techniques is a very powerful way to help our body take out the toxic trash and start feeling better again.

It is important in our contemporary time with the abundance of any food we could imagine at every time of day, to eat simply for a period of time to allow the digestive system to reset itself.

So… Are you ready to rejuvenate your digestive system?  

  • First is time restricted eating and fasting. These practices increase the bodies ability to burn fat and cellular regeneration.
  • Eating simply for better digestion. A mono diet of kitchari can be very nourishing helping the body restore the digestive system and good microbes.
  • Lymphatic massage. This practice decongests the lymph system which allows your body to move and release toxins.
